A name or location entered in a search box goes to the third-party provider that operates the tool. We do not store or log those query terms on our own system.
Messages
Email and contact-form messages are retained as needed to respond. They are not shared outside the organization unless disclosure is required by law.

Routine logs and analytics can collect:
- Internet Protocol address;

- device type and operating system;
- pages visited and time spent;
- the referring page, when supplied; and
- request dates and timestamps.

Links lead to Worcester County records pages, Sheriff and Jail resources, Maryland DPSCS, courts, federal portals, and independent search tools. After a visitor leaves, the destination’s privacy policy controls. Advertising partners may measure activity across sites on their own systems to select ads.

We do not sell personal information. Data may be provided to:
- search partners that process submitted queries;

- law enforcement or another government body responding to a valid legal order.

- request correction of inaccurate information;
- ask for deletion where applicable; and
- object to or opt out of certain processing.
Maryland Public Information Act rules in General Provisions Title 4 govern requests to state and local agencies, not private-site data requests under this notice.
